The daily schedule in the fourth grade classroom includes writing workshop, independent and small group reading, social studies (including ancient civilizations, modern Africa, world geography and current events), cursive writing practice and project time.  In addition to their daily work, fourth graders have many opportunities (skits, constructions, cooperative group projects) to show and exercise their independent thinking and creative productivity.  Students are also encouraged to investigate areas of personal interest throughout the year and share information with classmates.
